Who this covers
jellystructure is self-hosted software: every installation ("server") is set up and run by whoever installed it — a household admin — not by a central company. Ravilo is the TV and phone app that connects to one such server. This policy describes what a jellystructure server processes, and how Ravilo, as its client, handles that data.
What's processed
- Account details your household admin gives you — a username and password, stored only on that household's own server.
- What you watch and how far you got, kept on the server so "Continue watching" works, per profile.
- The device you're signed in on — a device name and an auto-generated ID, visible to the admin in Settings so it can be revoked.
- Standard web server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path), kept briefly for debugging and abuse prevention.
What's never collected
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, no analytics SDK inside the app.
- No data sold or shared with third parties.
- Nothing leaves your household's own server, except to services it's explicitly configured to talk to (Jellyfin for streaming, TMDB for artwork) — always under the admin's own accounts and API keys, never the developer's.
Who operates what
The developer (jeggy) writes and publishes the jellystructure and Ravilo software, and separately runs one such server for their own household. The developer does not operate, host, or have access to any other household's server or data.
Your data, your control
Everything above lives in the household's own server database and config files. An admin can remove an account, revoke a device, or shut the server down entirely from Settings → Users & devices at any time.
If you're using a server someone else administers, ask them. If you're using the instance operated by the developer specifically, contact jo@jebster.net to request account or data deletion.
Children
jellystructure lets an admin configure age-rating filters for a household's own profiles (e.g. for kids), but the software itself isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect data from them beyond what's described above.
